MINI has unveiled plans for releasing more hybrid and all-electric vehicles by the end of the decade. Some of these models are scheduled for release in the next two to three years. You just might see the following models among our inventory of MINI cars in the near future.

MINI Electric Hardtop

The 2022 release of the MINI Electric Hardtop includes many of the same upgrades as the latest iterations of the regular MINI Hardtop and the MINI Convertible. This includes modified front-end styling and a bevy of customizable options.

As for the 2023 model, not much is known yet, though designs like the Union Flag taillights are likely to carry over from the current model.

MINI John Cooper Works Electric

Spy photos have revealed images of a camouflaged MINI John Cooper Works Electric. Photos revealed some key details, including pronounced fenders, an enlarged rear spoiler, and a closed-off grille.

MINI Aceman

Not much is known about the MINI Aceman, and it’s largely just a concept at the moment. All that is known is that it will be an all-electric vehicle that’s part of MINI’s plan to have 50-percent of its inventory comprised of EVs by 2025.

MINI Convertible Electric

A MINI Convertible Electric is in the works with a tentative release date set for 2025. While not much is known, it will likely retain the same styling, smooth handling, and traditional hallmarks and appeal of a convertible.
