MINI has released an official statement reflecting on its record-breaking year in the U.S. For MINI, 2012 was certainly a memorable year. The U.S. has emerged as the world’s number one market for small and compact vehicles sporting the MINI badge.

In Winter Park, MINI Cooper used drivers welcomed 66,123 new MINI fans. That’s how many vehicles the automaker sold in the U.S. in 2012. That’s a jump of 15% over the previous year. MINI has so far proven to be most popular on the West Coast. However, no matter where you go, you will likely see a MINI on the road. They’re pretty hard to miss.

MINI attributes a portion of its sales success to its ever-expanding model range. The MINI Countryman of course played a major role in achieving its sales record. The MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 proved to be the most popular model variant with sales reaching 8,223 units. The runner up was the MINI Cooper S Countryman.

Both of these models are outstanding vehicles, so it’s not hard to see why U.S. drivers are gravitating to them.

At Orlando MINI, we helped introduce plenty of new people to the perfect MINI vehicles for them in 2012. If you’re curious why over 66,000 drivers chose MINI, stop by our dealership and test drive a MINI for yourself. It’s an unforgettable driving experience.

As for MINI, we’re looking forward to another exciting and record-breaking year in 2013.
