Previously, I mentioned how MINI was going to debut the JCW GP at the Paris Motor Show. Well, as the date gets closer, MINI is continuing to dole out information. This time, it’s the specifications on the JCW GP for US MINI fans.

In Winter Park, used MINI owners can’t help but be blown away by this JCW model. As the information shows, this model the fastest MINI ever built. It goes from zero to 60 in 6.1 seconds. The engine is capable of 211 horsepower, which helps the car reach a top speed of 150 miles per hour. For a MINI, that’s quite impressive.

Besides the under-the-hood details, here are a couple more updates to savor. This car will be a two-seater with sports brakes, model-specific 17-inch alloy wheels and aerodynamic body parts which help it reach that top speed.

The MINI JCW GP model will go on sale in the first quarter of 2013. However, it’ll be a limited release. Only 2,000 units are being built. So, MINI fans looking to get behind the wheel of this impressive, sporty MINI model must head to their local MINI dealer and place their order.

At Fields Orlando MINI, we are certainly impressed with the JCW GP and can’t wait to see what else MINI has in store for the Paris Motor Show. In the meantime, drivers interested in seeing the MINI experience first-hand should stop by and take a test drive.
