MINI has an amazing history of its own. Especially if you’re a wiz a MINI repairs, Winter Park drivers know you can get even the oldest cars running again.
Well, here’s a challenge for some mechanics. The oldest unrestored MINI was just discovered and will be up for auction at a Bonham’s collection auction next week. It’s a 1959 Austin Mini Se7en De Luxe Saloon.
While it’s not the oldest Mini, the seven proceeding it in age have all been restored, it’s the oldest in need of restoration. In Lakeland, used MINI owners can’t believe how timeless this model looks. While MINI vehicles have certainly evolved over the years, certain designs haven’t changed even more than fifty years later. It’s that traditional that makes MINI such an iconic brand.
This unrestored gem is expected to sell for $19K – $24K. Although it’s not in the best of shape, there are certainly some talented mechanics that can get it running again. This car represents a piece of MINI history, and it cannot be forgotten.
