With the Olympics seemingly fast approaching, MINI is already preparing something special for the occasion. The automaker will release two special edition MINI vehicles, the MINI Baker Street and MINI Bayswater, in the Spring of 2012.
Whether you’re driving a used MINI, Winter Park MINI fan, or just an auto enthusiast, it’s hard to deny that these vehicles look stunning. Both use the MINI Hardtop as their foundations, but that’s where the comparisons end.
The MINI Baker Street has a youthful look and is going for a fresh and trend-setting style. It sports a new exterior and interior design. The MINI Cooper engine variant for this car delivers 121 horsepower and uses a six-speed manual gearbox.
The MINI Bayswater on the other hand is going for the sporty look and embodies the agile handling for which MINI is known. The blue metallic paint was created exclusively for the special edition model as was the interior design. The sporty appearance is emphasized by the black contrasting roof and the stripes on the bonnet.
At Orlando MINI, we are always stunned by the beautiful vehicles MINI creates. Whether it’s the next year’s line of models or special editions for the Olympics, they never fail to impress.
