Keeping to your MINI Cooper service schedule is essential to keeping your vehicle running well. Our complimentary MINI scheduled maintenance, which comes standard with every new MINI at Orlando MINI, can help you keep your new car running at its best.
5,000 Miles
Once your odometer hits 5,000, it’s time for your first MINI service visit. You’ll need an oil change, and the oil filter, the engine filter, and the cabin filter will all need to be checked. Other fluids need to be checked and, if necessary, changed as well: transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield wiper fluid all may need replacement. Finally, our service team will perform a check on essential parts like belts, hoses, and front and rear lights.
10,000 Miles
At 10,000 miles, your MINI needs all the same service it needed at 5,000 miles, with a few extra service checks. This is the time for tire rotation since the uneven wear between front and back tires can lead to reduced performance. In addition to the fluid and filter changes above, you’ll also need new wiper blades and a new fuel filter.
Beyond 10,000 Miles
The 5,000-mile and 10,000-mile cycles continue, so you’ll continue alternating between the two as long as you keep driving your car, with a few new points to check. Fluids need to be fully flushed and replaced: brake fluid at 30,000 miles, coolant at 40,000 miles, and transmission fluid at 50,000 miles. Fuel filters and drive belts need to be replaced with new MINI parts at 40,000 miles and 60,000 miles.
