November is always a memorable month. It’s the official kickoff to the holidays, including some of the biggest shopping days of the year. However, for MINI, this November was particularly notable.

The automaker reported that MINI USA had its best November sales ever with sales of 5,248 automobiles. In Lakeland, MINI Cooper drivers who just bought their car are glad to be counted among the five thousand new MINI fans.

This sales record represents a boost of 10.5 percent from the 4,750 vehicles sold in Nov. 2001. That’s not the only notable news. November also marked the sixth consecutive month of record sales. Needless to say, 2012 is proving to be a great year for MINI and its growing number of fans.

Year-to-date, MINI sales in the US are actually up 15.2 percent compared to the first eleven months of 2011. MINI has already surpassed its 2011 annual record of 57,511 vehicles.

As usual, the MINI Cooper S Hardtop was the top seller in November with 2,490 vehicles sold. However, the Cooper S Convertible and Cooper S Clubman also had a standout month.
