In previous posts, I’ve talked a lot about the impressive features of the MINI Clubvan. Now, let’s talk a little bit about how this newest MINI model performs behind the wheel.
The MINI Clubvan was first seen at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. It’s come a long way since then, and it’s sure to be a big hit with MINI owners. As I said before, the MINI Clubvan is targeted to small-business owners who want to make an impression as they drive and transport their merchandise around town.
The MINI Clubvan is a sharp vehicle, so it certainly accomplishes that. How does it feel to drive around town though?
The MINI Clubvan isn’t a racer. It gets to 60 miles per hour in 10 seconds with a top speed of 122 mph. Yet, its performance is reliable and sturdy, exactly the kind of handling a small-business owner wants when transporting their goods.
The trunk provides ample room. It has a 1,100-pound payload capacity or 30.4 cubic feet of storage space…whatever limit is hit first. With the 12-volt sockets in the back, you can even plug in a small wi-fi router. Like everything in this MINI, they work perfectly.
The brakes are solid and the turning and steering feels smooth and provides some of the best handling on the road today. In Oviedo, MINI Cooper drivers can’t wait to get their hands on the MINI Clubvan and take a test drive.
At Orlando MINI, we encourage everyone to stop by the dealership and see all the fantastic vehicles MINI has for sale.
